Have fun with whatever you're doing! If it's not fun, why even do it?

Keeping up the energy for a side project can be hard. Pick something you really like, so it feels more fun than work. Cut it into smaller bits - it's easier to handle and you'll feel good checking stuff off. Try to work on it a bit each week, even if it's just for a short time. Tell your friends about it or post online - it helps to have cheerleaders. When you feel stuck, think about why you started. It's okay if things don't always go smoothly - that's normal. Just keep at it and don't be too hard on yourself.

To stay motivated with your side project, set clear goals and create a specific schedule. Also, celebrate small successes to keep your spirits up! Good luck! @smash karts

Yeah 100%! Set small milestones and reward yourself when you hit them. That way there's always something concrete to work towards. Also letting friends know about it creates a bit of positive peer pressure to keep going. But don't be too rigid, give yourself a break here and there. Sometimes just noodling on ideas counts as progress too. The main thing is letting the passion carry you through the bumps. You got this!
