To promote your new product at trade shows: 1. Talk to people as many as you can while getting their emails for your email marketing. 2. Prepare QR codes for your landing page or to connect on social media. 3. 1 person is for a long talk, and 1 person is for a 1min talk. The point is to cater to a lot of people.

@carmela_padasas thank you. I like the idea of a short and long talk person. Great ideas.

Networking at a trade show is key. Engage 1 on 1 with other attendees to talk about / demo your product. This allows you to get feedback as well as begin to build relationships with potential future buyers. Have some inexpensive freebies to give away to each person you network / connect with to increase your chances of being memorable.

@skillprepare @toducate Thinking outside of the box is always a great idea. You can never go wrong with something useful that they will hang onto like a lighter or bottle opener. It depends on budget but it will definitely make you stand out! Love the air freshener idea too!

@skillprepare thanks. Yeah, the engagement is key. Do you have any specific handouts you like to give or get at shows? I see a lot of the same old stuff. Pens, tshirts, hats, candy, etc.

@toducate I usually like to hand out notepads or something a little different like an air freshener for their car. (5X8 notepads can cost you about $1.58 each and you can get custom logo car air fresheners on alibaba for less than .50 cents each) Because you're totally right, everyone is handing something out. I see some attendees at tradeshows walking around with buckets of merch,

@skillprepare air fresheners?! That’s a great idea. Thanks man!

@toducate No problem Todd! Best of luck at the trade show. Just a heads up: the air fresheners sometimes take about 6 weeks to create and ship.
