Find a few podcasts that inspire you. Listen to how they format their podcast and take notes.
For example, how do they start their intros? Do they play music? Talk about themselves? Remind listeners what the podcast is all about? Pay attention to the structure so you know how to model yours.
I recommend checking out https://www.reddit.com/r/podcast... to get tips on setup and software. You don't need much when you're starting out, it won't be perfect. So you learn along the way and make changes as necessary.

First up - listen to podcasts! Find some that inspire you and think through why exactly they're so captivating. Second - get an actual microphone... even if your airpods sound good to you in a recording, regular podcast listeners are finicky and they will not accept anything other than clear audio. Third - just do it! It feels a lot more daunting than it actually is!
