As people become more aware of their privacy, they don't share their data with companies they don't trust.

What do you do to make them trust you?

For example: some use social proof, get certified (ISO/SOC) or invest more time on their legal and privacy policies.

Sound human. 
No need to refer to your startup as "we" when you're alone. People want to connect with real person, and not corporations anymore. Don't hesitate to own your mistakes, bugs and provide transparency when it comes to any of your customers' requests
