There are many online conferencing tools out there. However, the predominant ones are Zoom and Google Meet.
In your opinion, what are some of the ways through which participant engagement and attentiveness can be increased in such online meetings?
Are there any tools that you would recommend to be used during the sessions?

1. Before the meeting, create an agenda and send it out to all participants, so everyone knows what topics will be discussed.
2. Use visuals such as slides, videos, or diagrams to engage participants and keep them focused.
3. Ask questions throughout the meeting to encourage discussion and participation. Make sure to call on people by name to get everyone involved.
4. Encourage people to answer questions and participate in conversations using their microphones.

@qudsia_ali Nice thoughts. What tool do you use for your meetings generally? Any thoughts on how to use such VC tools effectively?
Try reducing your TTT - Teacher Talk Time.
This is one advice that has helped me a lot. Engage your audience by allowing them to speak more than you do in the meeting.
Our product, Lens (https://www.getlens.io) allows hosts to measure participants' talktime and attentiveness. Thereby giving you insights into who is engaging and who is drifting away! 🚀
