I'm thinking about building a new one like "The Multiverse AI", but focus on other aspects, like photos with traditional Chinese clothing (which my little sister recently got very much interested in). Are people still excited about this kind of tool? Will the big company like OpenAI and Midjourney take all the market? What do you think?

I think it is just a new wrapper, many products share the same avatars.

A free AI face generator is a fantastic resource for creatives and hobbyists. It lets you create lifelike faces without the need for expensive software. The free ai face generator use AI to produce realistic results, making them perfect for art, design, or just having fun. However, it's essential to use them responsibly and be aware of potential privacy and ethical concerns, especially in the context of data usage and deepfake technology. Enjoy the creative freedom but keep ethics and privacy in mind.

Personally, I don't like avatars and most of them lack originality (3 blonde girls with the same avatar) and for me they look ugly (avatar graphics)

From my perspective, so far, products like DALL·E 3 and Midjourney will likely dominate a significant portion of the market for now. As a user, the key factors I pay attention to when using such products can be ranked in the following order of importance: 1. How well AI can understand the meaning of the prompts, 2. Image quality, 3. Subscription costs. Perfectly achieving the first two points can be quite challenging for AI companies. They need to understand and reason the user's intended meaning as accurately as possible based on the limited content provided in the prompts to generate precise images. In reality, most users just want to "give it a try" to start using these AI products. They may not invest much time in crafting prompts or learning how to help AI better understand their intentions. However, they all want AI to create an image that perfectly aligns with what they have in mind. I believe this is an area where DALL·E 3 and Midjourney relatively excel and one that many existing AI products need to address.

@jessicaliu most of my experience is related to stable diffusion. I think it's very difficult for small companies and individuals to push the SOTA. Most of the communities' work I saw are sacrificing generality for image quality, which means they excel in a particular style, but are not as controllable or diversified. I think that's maybe acceptable for users as well, if the product clearly states what it can and cannot do. Provided that users are interested. On the other hand, midjourney/DALLE are evolving crazy fast though, and their price is actually hard to beat also.
