To maintain typography consistency, I plan to use local styles in my designs. When typography styles are detached, it becomes challenging to check them manually. I utilize several plugins, such as A Selector and Font Changer, to identify and change fonts. Additionally, keeping a record of the fonts used can be helpful, but it can be time-consuming and require significant effort.

It sounds like you’re putting a lot of effort into maintaining typography consistency, and I can imagine how time-consuming that can be with manual checks and multiple plugins. FontViz, a Figma plugin, could be a game-changer for you.

FontViz automates the font validation process, allowing you to identify and change fonts across your design with just one click. It can quickly display all the fonts used in your file, and highlight specific fonts — something not found in other plugins. This can make it much easier to ensure consistency without the need for manual inspection.
It could significantly streamline your workflow, saving you time and effort while ensuring consistent typography throughout your design. Give it a try and see how it can simplify your process!
Maintaining consistent typography is crucial! I typically create a typography style guide in a separate artboard or page within my design files. It includes all the key font styles (H1, H2, body, etc.) and their properties like size, weight, line height, and color. Then I use tools like Figma's Styles feature or Sketch's Text Styles to apply those predefined styles across my designs. It takes some upfront work but makes global changes a breeze and ensures consistency. Plugins like Simpatico and Relabel are also super handy for checking for type inconsistencies. Hope this helps!
