I have used WhatFont and I think that does the job well.

@manitejanoone Thanks, I've been looking for a new extension. WhatFont hasn't been working in a lot of cases lately, ill give fontviz a try.
I prefer browser extension tools and started using FontViz recently and it is very helpful for font inspection and validation.

A browser extension with the following features can definitely help make our lives easier:
* Holistic view of fonts on the entire page.
