I've seen people go from 0 to thousands of followers in a few months, all because they zoned in on building a personal brand. Do you have any tips for makers that want to do the same? I am trying to do it here - https://twitter.com/Sanket_goyallll

To build a personal brand on Twitter, focus on defining your niche, optimizing your profile, and consistently sharing valuable content related to your expertise. Engage with your followers, use relevant hashtags, and connect with influencers in your field. Incorporate visual content, track your analytics, and maintain a positive and respectful online presence. Building a strong personal brand on Twitter takes time and dedication but can help you establish your authority and expand your network.

Mostly about having fun and being your true self in my opinion. Staying consistent is also a must. Been working on some stuff on Twitter/X as well lately, let's connect if interested: https://twitter.com/NicoSpijker :)

    @sanket_goyal wow thank you, Sanket!

@nicolaas_spijker Well, I really want to believe that being true your self is helping:) just starting now and feel kinda overwhelmed by super proactive/successful people in my area of work, very few people sound sincere yet their followers check is insanely high.

@yana_miller Quite a few accounts recycle the same narratives. Try to focus on the things you enjoy and interact with people you find sincere. Something that can help is muting accounts on your FYP that you don't enjoy. This way you'll train the algorithm to show you people who actually share stuff you're interested in. Plus, it silences some of the virtue signaling, content recycling, and MLM stuff.

@nicolaas_spijker this is a really good advice, Nico, thank you so much🙏

I believe in tweeting everyday to keep the game going. This has helped my company twitter account to grow
I grew from 0 to 32K followers and often people ask me this question and this is what I answer them. 1. Be You 2. Authenticity 3. Consistency 4. Engage more by replying to meaningful replies 5. Jump on a call with people

I am by no means an expert, but I have observed that Twitter's audience is very receptive to 'value' offerings. If you're sharing something valuable, regardless of how many followers you have, you'll attract a significant number of eyeballs. I also believe that paying for a subscription can help increase your visibility, but ultimately, it all comes down to the value you provide. In most cases, especially for 'product' related accounts, I've noticed that sharing your progress or using hashtags like #buildinpublic can garner a supportive audience. I started in May and I have added around 900 followers so far. I don't post aggressively as I don't prioritize posting on Twitter much, for me it's all fun and games - www.twitter.com/jamayal

Certainly, there are those who achieve staggering success through algorithms, hard work, and a bit of luck, but I don't believe it's worth striving to be 100% like them. It seems to me that the safest approach is to seek out like-minded communities and systematically convince them of your professionalism.

I am doing it for my lash lift business which is basically a SPA service. I post useful content daily on twitter. Guide my followers and discuss problems they are facing even they live in different countries and not my potential customers but still it impact huge when real user see that this account has knowledge so they defiantly a converting user technique.

Continued content development, as well as the ability to tap into current hot topics and create relevant content might give some help.

You are definitely on the right path Sanket! From what I saw, you have to provide value that can't be found anywhere else, so start niche and do the research yourself:)

I haven’t cracked it yet, but the way I will be building my brand is just posting consistently! Hoping that gets me a few followers and I can grow from there. Although I’m already posting on a lot of platforms so I can’t focus as much on that one as I want to!
    Jawad Tijani
Just like any other platform buddy, provide value and be consistent! :)

TBH, it is always a really hard question. My suggestion is that you can focus on a certain area and share more of your views and understanding of things in the industry.
    Hannah
That's hard. I'm still learning. I think either you should keep posting useful content in your niche and engage with your audience, or just be extremely smart & crazy

To build your personal brand on Twitter, be yourself, share your expertise, and engage with others. Be consistent with your tweeting and use relevant hashtags to reach a wider audience. These are the things that work for me.

Twitter needs simple but consistent contents (it will differ according to your target audience), then we can do whatever we wish..
