How do you build relationships with investors?

Do you agree that founders need to actively expand their networks and invest time in attending events to attract venture capital investment?

If so, is this right for you?

Is this method still modern and does not need any changes?

I personally do think there's merit in actively expanding your network and providing value to people to get into certain rooms, but it's a double edged sword. Because people from less privileged backgrounds may not have the same opportunities as others.
