This one is a complex one. Cold email or email marketing?

First make sure you are landing in the inbox. For this you can track:
1- list higyiene (only send to fully validated subscribers)
2- content relevancy (make sure the content of the email is well aligned with the target audience)
3- use content spinning/rotation in the subject line and body
4- make sure your technical setup is well done (SPF, DKIM,dmarc)
5- do not overwhelm email service providers with tons of emails. (set a slow sending frequency)
6- Give the user a way to unsubscribe (regulations)
Now, to get open rates:
1- the subject line is key (use personlazation)
2- the first line of the email body is key (it should tell what is the email about)
3- make the email conversational instead of sounding salsy
4- use your full name in the sender name
5- avoid using generic email addresses like info, sales, etc
6- make sure you have a google profile for the sender (so people can browse who is the sender)
7- the body of the email should be short and to the point.
These are just a few suggestion. I am the founder of https://mailrush.io an email service provider for B2B cold email outreach.
Please share your thoughts as well I'm running email campaigns regularly might be helpful for me.
@julie_john I track each email metric and then edit the contents according to these metrics. For example, if CTR is low, I change the CTA text and button position. Also, I use catchy titles and descriptions on them. I think that personalization is the key component when it comes to creating email campaigns. But, still, I need more tips! ☺️
Notaku
For notaku.so i save the user time zone and send them transactional emails at around 12am. This increases opens rates a lot.
I also send a lot of emails after user completes an action (for example after user creates a website from Notion), these emails are useful as a sort of notification
Notaku
Another tip: Add the user name in the email subject, this makes the email feel like it was hand written
Don't put any image or html layout, simple text and a signature at the end like "Best, Tommy @ notaku.so"

Experiment and A/B split test.
Different subjects, catchy phrases, images, image positioning, emojis in the subject line. Meaningful pretext.

@sercan_oray As I said before:

These are my methods ☺️
@sercan_oray I am so glad to hear this. I hope that will be helpful. ☺️
Launchboard
Writing effective subject lines.
My formula: Personalization, brevity, recipient at the center.
Your ask / CTA always comes later & should be part of email body copy.
E.g. i ran two batches of emails (30 subs in each list).
Batch 1: Can I host you on our podcast ? (automated)
Batch 2: Hey Brian, loved your xyz interview. (Manual)
Batch 1: open rate ~15%
Batch 2: open rate ~60+%

@sanat_mohanty Thanks a lot! I will definitely try it!

A/B testing and finding the optimization would be one of the hacks!
Use some copywriting tips.
Like hookup sentences, the time you email, add short-term deals, and keep observing what works, and adjust accordingly.
@software_guy thanks a lot!
Emails are similar to letters, though they can be sent to a lot more people at once. As such, it's important that your email feels personal, and that every e-mail you send is as specific to your audience as possible. When you open an email, the first thing you notice is the "subject." Either it grabs your attention, or it doesn't. Grammatical errors and improper capitalization instantly turn people off. Make sure to proofread your emails, and to play around with the subject line.
Actually posted about it on twitter earlier today. https://twitter.com/adeaoi/statu...
Subject lines are important, there is normally a formula of headlines that work.

Also, what emails are you trying to increase the open rate for?
Cold email?
People on your list?
If it is people on your list, it might be an issue with your emails.
Hard to give concrete advice without knowing.

First and the most important tip - Deliver a catchy subject line.
I try to avoid spam filters. Segmenting the email list helps a lot. Last but not the least, focus on the right timing. Figure out what is the right time to send your email. :)
@giovanni_ghigliotti2 thanks a lot! I should find the right time, then. ☺️

@umutgunbak Comments will be really helpful! And A/B test is the best to optimize your campaigns.
I think it is important to make a difference in the uniformity of e-mails. That's why I think emojis work :)
@ege_aybuke_kaya You are so right! Emojis work with all type of content! 🚀
