I will copy my yesterday answer in the other discussion about AI in digital marketing:
AI really affected the advertising industry, with companies like Meta developing some of the smartest AI that helps with all targeting strategies.
I would say it is now easier to run ads than it was five years ago. Marketers who have been in this industry for a long time don't really like that. As it became much easier which bring us more competition. Most of the targeting is done by algorithms, you just need to provide quality creatives, which can also be done with AI.
However, aside from that, we often forget that marketing is about psychology, and most of the time, you still need real human input on campaigns to make them successful.

As far as ad copy goes, nothing will make me laugh more than the AI-generated suggested headlines from Microsoft Ads. They definitely have some catching up to do.
