Hot design trends for user attention?

I'm seeing a few sites use a design style which I'm not sure what it's called, but I refer to it as the Gen Z aesthetic - super bright colors, thin vibrant serif fonts, etc eg https://www.mrbeastburgers.com/, https://gumroad.com/ and https://statamic.com/

I would say anything that's not a trend will grab user attention best (because if everyone uses video backgrounds for example, only the static backgrounds will grab your attention due to being numb to videos). So take what everyone typed, and don't do those things

I'd double down on dark mode like @hina_shehzad said in the list.

I feel like that dynamic movements or animations can be instrumental in directing user focus and making interactions more engaging.
