Hi! I've worked a few years in digital marketing (commercialization for apps first and then jumped to the marketing side).
Would love to have some insightful discussion here about people's general confusion/ specific questions. Would try my best to answer them!

That's awesome, Kelly! What's the most effective digital marketing strategy you've used that yielded the highest ROI?
Share
@elaineluyi Depending on the specific marketed product and the budget. Here are some startegies I've tried and found useful.
- high budget + e-commerce: Google shopping ads, Tiktok influencers
- low budget + entertainment app: Tiktok ads, Tiktok creative challenge, Youtube influencers
- medium budget + appearl: Instagram influencers
- low budget + web tool: Reddit organic content
I'm glad to hear about your experience in digital marketing! It sounds like you have a lot of valuable insights to share.

does PPC ad with LinkedIn or similar sites work for high ticket web dev services? 🤔 if so, how does a good ad monthly budget looks like to target the US East Coast timezone? Or would it be better to sell a low entry product instead?
@matt_bonacin Hi Matt thanks for the question -- I would say if you're marketing high-ticket service either do a lead advertising (collect people's email/contacts and then have a BD to do the outreach) or build personal connections (build a community or DM business owners on LinkedIn). Pure advertising may not work the best since people have to have a higher trust for high ticket products.

Three years in digital marketing? That's like navigating the ever-changing algorithms of social media - challenging yet rewarding! So, what's your go-to strategy for staying ahead in this digital jungle?
Hey Kelly, what were the biggest challenges you faced with Instagram marketing?
@kshitij11 Content saturation. Instagram is highly commercialized and you normally end up with a higher bid if your product falls in to the following categories: Fashion and Apparel, Beauty and Personal Care, Home Decor and Lifestyle, Travel and Experiences. Ad contents are extremely important in these cases.
@kelly_happicat we're building something to fix that with DM marketing. It helps you open a 1:1 direct channel with your audience and automatically run high converting campaigns & automations. Would you like to try out and give us some feedback from a marketer's perspective about what you like/could be better?
Hi Kelly,
Thanks for hosting this AMA! I run a strategic sound design agency with over 15 years of experience and have recently shifted to a monthly strategic sound design subscription service. I believe I am the only sound design agency worldwide offering a SaaP, especially with a strategic approach. I regularly create LinkedIn content, including weekly quote remixes to showcase the power of sound and consulting-focused carousels about sound advantages.
To reach more of my target audience without advertising, what strategies would you recommend? Should I explore other channels, different content types, or more collaborative posts?
Thanks for your insights!
@herwig_kusatz Hi Herwig thanks for the question -- if you are targeting the US I'd say try Reddit. Get a certain amount of karma(100+ recommended), find the right subreddits to promote, and create your content with link to your product/service.
@kelly_happicat Thank you for your insightful suggestion!
I'll definitely explore Reddit and work on building karma.
@herwig_kusatz Sounds good! Feel free to check out my other post about Reddit hope this helps! https://www.producthunt.com/disc...
@kelly_happicat Thank you, Kelly. I will read the Semrush blog article; it looks very helpful. P.S. I don't usually use Twitter for messaging. I just tried to DM you, but Twitter does not allow me to send a message.
Hello Kelly!
We are considering contacting influencers to communicate around our project, do you have any advice on how to find them and how to make business with influencers?
@kelly_happicat Mostly Youtube, maybe FB, Twitter and Linkedin as well but it's secondary
@guillaumemdsm Which social media do you plan to reach out influencers on?
@guillaumemdsm For influencer marketing for tools, I'd say Youtube > Tiktok = Instagram. Youtube has the highest probability for yielding a high amount of views and the corresponding coversions. Tiktok is likely to yield a high volume of traffic but the conversion rate remains unstable.
@kelly_happicat Interesting, so Youtube first, thanks!
Do you have any experience in tools to find and contact influencers?
