Being such a game changer video is like public speaking is frightening thing to start and practice. But, practice makes progress, for sure.

I’ve started using introduction videos and they’ve really helped with connecting on a personal level. Have you seen any particular type of video work best for your prospecting?

Great list! I’ve been thinking about trying product demo videos. How do you make sure they’re engaging and not just a sales pitch?

@nick_willstrop good question. IMHO, I’ve generally tried more products from a video product demo that haven’t tried to seem like a sales pitch. Vulnerability, empathy, and openness. What’s working, why should I care, what’s this not for? In our case, at rookit.app we directly tied videos to the overall product experience. We’re still in public beta, so whether this takes wings or not is still TBD. What about you? What video product demos got you to try the product?

Video prospecting is definitely a game changer! I've found that personalized intro videos help build rapport way faster than cold emails alone. Loom is my go-to for quick, customized videos - super easy to record and share. The key is keeping them short and to the point while still showing you've done your research on their company/needs. Follow-up videos after key convos are clutch too for staying top of mind. Still experimenting with other types but those are my staples!

Video is definitely a game-changer for sales prospecting! I've found personalized introduction and follow-up videos to be most effective in building trust. Using Vidyard has made the process super easy. What video platforms are others using for prospecting?
