Just when I was nearing the 200-day mark, I lost it all. This happened in a single day, all due to my move to my dream city. Now, I'm reaching out to you, friends, for some much-needed moral support.
What's the biggest streak you've lost?

Sorry to Mary,
1. You’ll build it back up no time
2. Streaks don’t define anything. Don’t let it get to you.

Damn! That's sad. Make it to 1k next time

@nareshmeetei Will do!

Very Sad x_x
I've been ill for a few weeks and maintaining my streak is very difficult on weekends because I'm without internet at home due to work. In short, it's more tiring than you think to put a streak aside, I'm only at 49 days and I would go crazy if I lost the streak now, I'm really sorry for you.

@elisa_tamburini Thank you and good luck!

Moving to your dream city costed you 189-day streak. Quite good price, I think. 🙂 So don't be sad, it was a good deal!

@gev_nazaryan great interpretation! Thank you
Heartbreaking. I’m right there too and wake up in a panic sometimes thinking I didn’t log in the day before.

Unofficial Product Hunt Chrome Plugin
I'm sorry this happened to you.
I'm contemplating making a Chrome extension that will remind you if it doesn't detect usage in the first 20 hours. Would that be useful to you?
I've lost my 79-day streak recently. Not nearly as bad as yours.

Ouuuch! Gaaa a move makes such a difference. Cut yourself some slack. We made a cross country move and completely underestimated the interruption in our lives and in the time we could put into our app.
Where did you move?
Pythia World
@taibabosnic1 I moved to Shanghai. Good luck on your launch!
My longest streak was around 82 days. I lost it at the beginning of a house purchase.

Oh, this is so sad. Experiencing the loss of a long-standing streak on Product Hunt can be truly disheartening. A few months back, I faced this when my 30-day streak came to an abrupt end. Fortunately, that setback didn't repeat itself, and I'm currently proud to be on a 132-day streak. There was a moment of panic a few weeks ago, though. I was ill, battling a fever, and overslept, which almost resulted in another streak loss. Upon waking, I was gripped by the fear that my streak was gone, but to my relief, it was still intact. Hastily, I managed to upvote a product before falling back to sleep. It's these close calls that remind us of the dedication needed to maintain such streaks on Product Hunt.

@abdalyousef Wow, that is a crazy story! It's incredibly stressful to imagine the anxiety you must have felt. Those moments of panic are all too real, especially when you've put in so much effort to maintain a streak.
So sad..

Hey @mary_rumyantzeva i'm yet to lose my streak 😅. I would suggest you to download PH app and install the home widget from settings. It will help you never forget! Wherever you are, you can keep track of your streak on your home screen !
@istiakahmad great tip. Just added to my home screen.
Pythia World
@istiakahmad This is an awesome idea! Thank you

@mike_fitzbaxter Hey Mike Happy to help 😊, lets connect everywhere possible as well.
I lost my 73 days streak.. but I started all over again.. but streak doesn’t matter actually.. what matters most is how thoughtful, beneficial and supportive our activities on PH
Soo sad, I was sad when I lost just 20-day streak..
Buut dream city sounds like a good option to overcome this loss!

Is there any actual benefit of having a streak on here? I genuinely enjoy seeing the products and innovation, and don’t need to be gamed (unless there’s a benefit I don’t know about).
