Gmail just made it simpler to protect your brand using BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification). Here’s what’s new since 24th september.
1. CMC (Common Mark Certificates)
Brands without a registered trademark can now use BIMI with CMCs.
No trademark? No problem! You can display your logo, but without the verified checkmark.
2. Checkmarks on mobile:
Verified brand logos with the checkmark are now visible on Gmail for Android and iOS. More recognition, more trust.
> Why it matters:
• More Security: Protect your emails from spam.
• Better visibility: Display your logo directly in emails.
• Build Trust: Instant brand recognition for your recipients.
> How to get started:
• Use a VMC (Verified Mark Certificate) for the checkmark.
• No trademark? Go for a CMC to still display your logo.
BIMI is now available to all Gmail users as of September 24, 2024.
Had you heard of the news before?
