    As an emerging entrepreneur, I'm always on the lookout for market trends and user needs to find new business opportunities. In 2021, I found that more and more people were using TikTok to make videos, with some using the platform to sell their products and services. Upon further investigation, I discovered that Douyin in China had become a major platform for this type of business, as people used short videos and live streams for product promotion. However, I didn't see the same phenomenon in the US. So, I began to explore why this market model was successful in China. I needed more data and information to understand this, so I began researching the Douyin market and different solutions. After trying some tools, I discovered some market and business opportunities that could provide strong support for those who want to succeed in the Chinese market. However, most of these tools were only suitable for China and couldn't meet the needs of the global market. During my exploration and research, I discovered a growing demand for video translation and repair tools. I started working with my team to develop our product, GhostCut. GhostCut offers various features, including smart text removal, hard subtitle translation, and automatic translation and dubbing. We use OCR to recognize and remove text in the video, translate original text in the video while retaining the original style, and identify and translate speech in the video with synchronized subtitles and dubbing. Additionally, our Auto Video Deduplication feature makes video editing and repair easier. We focus on user experience and ease of use, making it easy for users to complete video editing and repair and quickly and accurately convey their message. We spent a lot of time and effort creating promotional videos, writing user guides and product descriptions, and even promoting our product through social media influencers to convey our message and attract customers with similar needs. Throughout the product design process, we communicated with customers to collect feedback and make improvements and optimizations, which is an iterative process. We ultimately finalized the product interface, usage flow, and features, and through multiple tests and fixes, we developed GhostCut. We believe that providing video translation and repair services globally will help companies better promote their products to the global market and attract more users and customers.
