I am debating offering my product a free trial or a freemium model. Any suggestions?

Freemium is a poplular model but it's hard to get right
People get so used to free and don't want to upgrade or subscribe
Think about it properly regarding eventual monetisation

I believe the theory is that the more you're willing to give, the more likely you will get business in return.
The freemium model is great, because it can help a potential customer understand just how exactly your product can serve them.
