Founders in different locations

Important question that keeps and keeps rising as we are going down the product creation road - is it ok that 3 co-founders are all in the different locations and timezones? It seems obvious that the max efficiency is achieved when everyone is working from the same space, but is it a dealbreaker?

There are pros and cons of both.
Having all founders (not recommended to have more than 3) in the same office. It helps in bouncing ideas.
But I wouldn't find partners from the same place just for that sake.
There are tools to communicate online though not as efficient as in office.
I've so far started / closed / exited 4 businesses and I never lived in the same city as my co-founder(s). Does that mean, I don't want my co-founder in the same city? No. I would prefer that more than remote but if I can't find, I wouldn't let that stop me from starting a venture.
And I'm against going solo. You always need someone who can share burden & responsibilites.

Technically, it's possible, but it's really challenging. I recommend setting a unified time for communication regardless of differing schedules. This is crucial for maintaining align during the tough journey of entrepreneurship.
