Digital marketing is one of the core areas of businesses. Given, the complicated ad platforms and the expertise required within the field, founders/business owners seek for the best solution for their digital marketing initiatives. What are the preferred options here?

In the past, we used to get our digital marketing work done by an agency, but now, we have wholly acquired them.

Need an answer - I do everything myself, but with the help of SaaS tools :)
@stas_voronov 3 option seems to fit your answer :)
Internal works the best!
All the insights were really helpful! We have been working on a solution to facilitate the process of digital advertising, while we understand the challenges founders are experiencing within the area. Magnetiq is a one-stop digital marketing platform allowing SMBs/Startups to create compelling digital creatives and publish effectively across advertising platforms through a single panel.
Would love to get some feedback and your opinions, feel free to check out www.usemagnetiq.com.

@omer_ersin This looks really cool! How much customization is there? I.e. targeting only users on desktop, or other features that you can control yourself through FB Ads Manager?
@daniel_baum Hey Daniel, thanks for the kind words!
Through Magnetiq, we aim to to provide a solution to the busy founders/business owners who cannot spare the time investment required for effective digital marketing while they deal with all the other areas of their businesses. Therefore, our platform is specifically designed with an easy to use approach which will allow users to publish effective ads within minutes.
For the time being, through Magnetiq, we allow our users to manage their Google, Facebook and Instagram ads. We allow our user to determine their goals, strategy and further optimization options. However, where we differentiate is features like our Magnetiq Studio, where users can simply design their ad creatives, Keyword Suggestions for Google campaigns, Pre-Set Audiences for determining their target audience and many more.
Lots of further features are on-route. Stay tuned! Hope I answered your question and would love some feedback should you test out Magnetiq! :)

@omer_ersin Thanks for the thorough response, makes total sense! I think the pre-set audiences are particularly interesting.
One add-on capability that would really appeal to me is if YOU could suggest some pre-set audiences. This doesn't need to be advanced AI, but maybe the initial promotion begins with a general audience, and then your system can narrow in on a demographic that is performing well! Just a thought...

Well, it's not a straightforward answer. What works for one might not work for others.
Our journey: Agency 1 --> Freelance expert 1 --> Self --> Agency 2
Working with agencies gives lot of bandwidth to focus on other aspects of business. Hence, one should attempt to find one (not easy at all :)).
As business scales, one might want to have in-house team. Hope this helps :)

At our current stage I do everything myself.
Using Minelead.io is the best way to generate leads from email addresses and conduct your email and digital marketing campaigns. The tool has helped thousands of businesses already and the number keeps increasing everyday.
Our company often reaches out to popular accounts on Instagram for collaborations. It seems to be working. But the takeaway has been that the product itself should be improved constantly. Because, yes, marketing is important and it attracts new users, but if the product is not improved constantly, users are not willing to stay with the product in the long run.
The hardest part is to get the feedback from users. We have been working on that for quite a while. Any tips?

We are relatively early stage, so we work with an agency. When teams grow, they tend to have an in-house team.
We have our internal digital marketing team, but since they're in they're relatively inexperienced, they are supported by a digital marketing agency.

I'm not a founder or a business owner but I'm the guy who does marketing for his org.
I do everything marketing related for the company, we only talk like once or twice a day. I only bother him when his input is needed, otherwise I can do anything independently. It wasn't like this in the beginning because the product solves a highly technical problem but now that I have conceptual knowledge about it I can work with looser management.
Hello, Omer
We did not involve marketing agencies and immediately created a marketing department. I have a lot of experience in marketing (more than 10 years - ppc advertising, targeting, sms, seo), I shared my experience with the team and now we do marketing cool and cheaper than the agency, but this is not the biggest advantage. Any change in marketing is done in 1 day, and sometimes in a few hours. For us it is very important.
I have done both - DIY and using an agency. Something that has worked well for us is using an agency to get the strategy, tracking, campaign set-up in place, then bringing it back in house for maintenance and scaling the program. It's cost efficient and also ensures you have latest best-practices in place for your campaign set-up (which is important to ensure accurate campaign tracking, or for SEO, ensuring all technical set-up is in place).

It was extremely important for us to gain the knowledge internally. Working with an agency felt like tossing money out the window.. we would have been extremely dependent.
We work with a freelancer once a week, but really I've been spending crazy hours on Youtube learning.
So many platforms, so much to learn - but until we can get a full internal team its working great !
@maly_charbonneau Hi Maly, totally understand your concerns. That's why we found Magnetiq (www.usemagnetiq.com). Give it a try! Would love some feedback.
