Emails vs LinkedIn for outreach: which one works better?

I have been seeing better response rate by reaching out to people on LinkedIn, asking for input and feedback.
I wanna scale that but how I do that without paying Sales Navigator?

How come you don't want to pay for Sales Navigator if it's working?

@jacopo_proietti yeah i agree the UX is horrible and i thought it was crazy you were limited to only 50 inmails/mo at that price.
My product is $50/pp so if I got more than 2 users per month from LinkedIn it would've been worth it but since that wasn't the case i left
@entreeden it’s expensive and with yearly billing. I feel it’s better to use it once you reached a certain level of MRR and start hiring sales staff

@jacopo_proietti Fair enough. I paid for 2 months of Sales Navigator (I think you can use a promo to get 2 months for $100) -- didn't end up being worth it for me but it was a good test
I found the cheapest way of reaching out honestly was with my LinkedIn connections because you don't have to pay for those of course
Another hack is to send people LinkedIn requests and write your message in the request itself, that doesn't require Sales Nav
@entreeden Thanks a lot Eden. Yeah leveraging network is key.
Any reason why Sales Nav wasn't worth it for you? The other thing about Sales Navigator: I hate the overall UX, like the way it forces you to add companies as leads one by one.

Use both, this is what we use: Sales Navigor, to find leads. Then evaboot to extract those leads with email discovery. Then add those emails in something like snovio or hunter.io
