Does the 4-day workweek work for startups?

I strongly believe that we should all have more time to explore hobbies, pursue side hustles, dedicate to our loved ones, engage with local communities or simply be outdoors. However, the demands of startup life can be overwhelming, and I worry that this could actually increase pressure on teams, potentially more so than a traditional 5-day workweek.
Do you have any thoughts or firsthand experiences to share on this topic?

If I do not love what I do, it is not my hobby, and looking for side hustles then I am inviting troubles in my life. They're inevitable. Need to work when I feel good, free, and want to. No traditional 9-5 work hour to 5 workday restriction can work.
It can go to 80 hours or 30 hours a week.

I couldn't agree more that finding the balance between work and personal life is crucial. While the idea of a 4-day workweek sounds enticing, in the fast-paced startup world, it might be a tricky balance to strike. It could lead to increased pressure and challenges for teams. Would love to hear others' thoughts and experiences on this!
