Do you think Twitter Blue (Premium) is necessary to grow a community there?

I have Blue and non-blue accounts.
Surprisingly my engagement is way higher with the non-blue. 🤷🏼♂️
Even on popular posts, clicks are low. I get about 100x more via email 💌

I’ve seen people grow their community without having Twitter Blue. I have Twitter Blue and actually I’m not quite sure if it helps with impressions and growth
@rashid_khasanov do you have any exemple of big accounts that don't have Twitter blue?
As always, I think the quality of the content is most important. So it might be better to invest in tools like https://tweethunter.io/?via=prod... than Twitter Blue 🤔

@elenat @rashid_khasanov Maybe it's just a fashion statement to have Twitter Blue in the Indie Hackers community?
Your point of view is interesting!
@rashid_khasanov It seemed to me that it was the opposite. Why did you come to this conclusion?
Apparently, it's easier to get on the for-you page with blue?
Here's an interesting article I found covering the topic as well: https://www.zdnet.com/article/is...
@nicolaas_spijker Interesting! Thanks for sharing Nico 🙌
I've also started on Twitter quite recently. And apparently premium is necessary for active growth there.
@luc_fernandez yep, I paid Twitter blue. And it looks like my tweets are shown more often. Engagement has increased. Though it is still low. But I hear that the big game on Twitter starts when you reach 1k followers. And getting so far without the blue badge is very difficult if possible at all.
Focus on creating great content and engaging with your audience, and you will eventually grow your community.
I don't think so. I think traffic are focus on different platforms.

Premium is necessary if you need to DM others...
I have a Blue checkbox for AX3 but NOT the blue account that's $1000 a month and that can go to my programmers.
Same question. I think, most people do engage with people with blue badges. But, I don't know if that's the case. It is just based on my observation.
