I've spent over a year on PH and I've seen a lot of products - I am curious if any of them are paradigm shifting. The biggest shift I've seen that has really impacted the WAY we work (at least from my perspective) Is Chat GPT. Cost effective and now seems to be a part of every new AI PH rollout.
Interested in what the community thinks is coming next / what the market needs?

Absolutely agree with your observation on ChatGPT. From my experience, InterWiz is another paradigm-shifter, revolutionizing the hiring process with AI-driven interviews that save time and enhance candidate experience. @zishaniqbal curious how you're using AI in the recruitment process / hiring process? like where does it exist within the hiring flow?
Launching soon!
@zishaniqbal I think automating those initial stages would be huge. Vet for language aptitude / technical know how to a baseline (additional filter) - maybe have a way to be certain they're not using AI / google for those technical Qs. First few calls, resume vetting and early stage aptitude.
My concern is that recruitment is a 2 way street and oftentimes high skill employees are interviewing the org just as much as the org is interviewing them - Speaking for myself - If I was interviewed by AI at the front end It might be something I'd be annoyed by so I would think long and hard about how that part of the process is framed for companies and offer some of the language that explains the process / rationale VS leaving that up for interpretation.

@dzaitzow Thanks for asking! At Interwiz, we use AI throughout the hiring process to make it more efficient and effective. Our platform conducts initial screenings and in-depth technical interviews using an AI avatar, which interacts with candidates in a natural and engaging manner. This allows us to assess skills, subject knowledge, practical abilities, and custom questions seamlessly.
What aspects of communication technology do you think would most significantly impact the future of remote hiring?

@dzaitzow Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You're absolutely right—automating the initial stages of the hiring process can significantly streamline the workflow, and vetting for language aptitude and technical skills is indeed crucial. Ensuring candidates are not using AI or external tools to answer technical questions is a valid point and something we are actively working on to maintain the integrity of the evaluations.
Regarding your concern about the candidate experience, I completely agree. Recruitment is a two-way street, and high-skilled employees often evaluate the organization as much as they are being evaluated. It's crucial for companies to communicate the rationale behind using AI in the initial stages clearly. This can be framed as a way to ensure fairness, consistency, and efficiency, allowing human interviewers to focus on deeper, more meaningful interactions later in the process.
Your feedback is invaluable, and we are committed to making the candidate experience as positive and transparent as possible. Thank you for the insights!
I think a product that helps manage digital wellness is essential. As we rely more on tech, tools that promote healthy usage could really resonate with users.
I see potential in a skill-sharing platform. Connecting those who want to learn with montors could really build community and foster growth.
I think the market needs more AI-powered tools for personal finance. Something that combines budgeting, investing, and automated financial advice in one intuitive app could be helpful

@harperscott interesting! Do you think some of the big players will simply implement that into their already existing ecosystem or is it a space ripe for disruption?
Honestly, for mental health I need better tools for mental health. There are apps, but none of them truly feel comprehensive or tailored. AI could make huge strides here, offering personalized, data driven soultions

@safaa_bird is there a specific use case you're thinking of? Meditation? Anxiety prevention? etc?
market is craving a better sustainable product recommendation platform. Something that can help consumers make eco friendly choice based on their habits, with verified data and transparency

@magnolia_morgan for consumer goods primarily? I also like the idea of an investment AI that helps you make decisions based on the policies of the company / if they are environmentally friendly etc. If consumers both purchase from these businesses but also invest in them - I'd imagine that would move the needle for larger corps who are simply profit focused.
AI tools that help automate and optimize small business logistics I need . Inventory management, supply chain optimization and shipping could all be more efficient with smart prdecitve AI,

@christianneal Does that not exist? Probably a ton of moving parts to be certain the AI is trained appropriately.
