Do you prefer the design of dark mode or light mode in smartphone apps? Why?

Dark mode all the way! It's so much easier on the eyes, especially at night. Plus it saves battery life on OLED screens. I do switch to light mode occasionally during the day though, since some apps look better with a light theme and it can be easier to read text.

I personally lean towards dark mode, especially when using my phone at night. It’s easier on the eyes and feels less straining in low-light environments. Plus, it gives a sleek and modern look to the apps. However, during the day, I sometimes switch back to light mode because it can be clearer and more vibrant, which is nice for reading and viewing photos. It really depends on the time of day and what I’m doing.
