Currently, 12.7% of full-time employees work from home, illustrating the rapid normalization of remote work environments. (https://www.forbes.com/advisor/business/remote-work-statistics/) With this increasing number, it has become much harder to set boundaries at work and maintain a healthy work-life balance. How do you manage to strike a balance between work and personal life when working remotely?

It's easy to practice, but it's hard to keep it, especially if you're a startup founder. 🎉We're launching "Cascad3 - A decentralized inspiration-driven publishing platform" on Product Hunt soon. Let's collaborate! I would appreciate your support and feedback by clicking the "Notify Me" button to stay tuned and be the first to know when Cascad3 debuts on the stage.👇 producthunt.com/products/cascad3 Thank you! I've found that setting concrete working hours, whenever possible, really helps me separate my work from my personal life. Sticking to a schedule makes me more disciplined and helps others know when I'm available. Also, I've been using specific apps for concentration, like Endel, which creates a soundscape that helps me focus during work hours and tune out distractions. It's made a big difference in maintaining that balance! Just try it! https://apps.apple.com/us/app/en...

I try to but it's extremely tough, most often you gotta priorities one over the other.

@talkinideas I think we still need to find a balance in between. The first step is always the hardest..

Absolutely, I believe work-life balance is crucial for maintaining both productivity and personal well-being. It's all about finding the right equilibrium that allows for professional growth without compromising time for self-care and loved ones.

@k_onrade I try to conciliate all the things that are important for me: mental health, phisical health, work, time with family and friends

No, I am 26, with a baby and don't yet own a home. I will practice work-life balance when I retire.

Work-live balance is very important for me. I start the day with an hour of exercise (gym, swimming or run) before I start work. During my first break, I listen to Headspace (a meditation app) and in the evenings after closing off work, I give myself a good 45 minutes to go outside - weather it's for a walk, calling a friend or Yoga. Without my routine I get very stressed so I am a very strong believer in practicing mindfulness and doing exercises!

@laura_riehl wow, that's a really good routine of yours. Hope you try that as well. It's indeed very important to allot a time for mindfulness and workout. Thanks for sharing, Laura!
