I used to have an onboarding flow that happened before useres entered the app, like with full screen onboarding pages. But I killed it because I realized I could actually increase adoption by just allowing users to enter the app, and guiding them on specific actions when it was necessary. The onboarding flow would end up being designed to do things the user didn't need to do right then, which feels counter productive.
But I definitely think onboarding flows can be the way to go, it just depends on the product.

Having a on boarding wizards really helps, once we had a small product and we probably would get 10 support tickets daily on "how can I...." but once we added the on boarding wizard those tickets stopped coming through. So it helps a lot
but not sure about product tours...
We believe that product tours and onboarding are essential for any product that wants to be successful. By providing users with a guided experience, we can help them get the most out of our product and achieve their goals.
We plan to implement it soon. 😃
Good question! The very first thing our clients can get something on the landing page and sign up for a demo. Then manual onboarding on our part and some training videos and some tips in UI. Difficult.
Nah, I don't do onboarding, But I've seen startups nail it with killer onboarding experiences.

Yes, I will
This is especially true for programmers. It is much more profitable to pay the previous developer extra for onboarding a new employee, than to lose the time that the new programmer will have to understand the code
