I prefer having a set daily routine as it helps me stay organized and productive. However, I do enjoy going with the flow on weekends to relax and recharge.

I prefer having a set daily routine because it helps me stay organized and focused. Sometimes, I also enjoy going with the flow when opportunities arise unexpectedly. Finding a balance between structure and spontaneity keeps things dynamic and productive for me.

@hamza_afzal_butt That sounds like a balanced approach Hamza. Having a routine for focus and embracing spontaneity for new opportunities seems like a great way to stay productive.

I preferred that everything go according to schedule, but there are times when you need to disrupt something and do something else, and Iโm ready for that.

After living for about 4 years in a spiritual and hippie spot, I realised how true the phrase 'only dead fishes go with the flow' is.
I know, it's a brutal take.

@anushkakarmakar That's an interesting perspective Anushka. Living in a spiritual and hippie spot must have been quite an experience.
A mix of both works best for me. I have a general plan but leave room for flexibility.

@martha_baker_ me too Martha

I appreciate both structured routines and the flexibility to go with the flow, as each offers unique benefits depending on the circumstances.
Having a set daily routine helps me stay organized and productive.
On the other hand, embracing spontaneity and going with the flow can be refreshing. It allows for adaptability in responding to unexpected opportunities or changes in plans.
Ultimately, I find a balanced approach works best for me.

@b2bsulaiman That makes sense Sulaiman. Finding a balance between a set routine and spontaneity can really help in staying organized and adaptable.

Some things I have to do on daily basis as my routine and it doesn't matter whether I want it or not, but the rest tasks can appear all of a sudden. So in this mix is a work balance to me :)

@natalie_ermishina Finding that balance between routine tasks and unexpected ones can be challenging but rewarding. How do you prioritize when new tasks come up unexpectedly?
@priyankamandal First deadline = first priority, I assume I usually act like this )))))
Lancepilot
Yes , though i keep failing the routine but yes ๐
Lancepilot
@istiakahmad Totally get that. It's the effort that counts, right? ๐
Depends on the day. Some time I need plans

I prefer a mix of both - like a well-designed algorithm, a balanced routine with some flexibility keeps things interesting! How about you, do you thrive on the thrill of unpredictability or the comfort of a set schedule?
I wish there was a product where it would adjust my daily routine to the flow. if that is even possible somehow

I like to have a rough routine, where I like to plan what exactly I'm going to do during the day. But I also like to keep the sequence of those things as a free will for myself, so that I can improvise on my schedule, and not feel like I'm bound to it and torture myself.
Lancepilot
@vertikanigam That sounds like a great approach. Having a flexible plan can definitely help you stay productive without feeling too restricted.

Go with the flow and also try to improve myself by day to day by at least 0.1%. I believe "consistency is key"

@vivyn_kumar That's a great mindset Vivyn.
