I haven't, but what considerations would lead you to hire a manager? To share your workload? To assist with tasks outside your core business? Or to complement your professional skills? I think the first thing to consider would be the cost. Then, whether it would truly improve efficiency, and what value it would bring - such as increasing revenue, reducing stress, and lightening the workload. Currently, I'm more focused on using various AI software to boost efficiency and prioritize daily tasks, giving precedence to matters that are both important and urgent.
To delegate effectively, start by identifying tasks that can be handed off—especially repetitive or time-consuming ones. Set clear expectations, give detailed instructions, and select the right person for the job. Start small, build trust gradually, and avoid micromanaging. Use automation where possible and focus on communication, providing feedback and guidance. Delegation frees up your time to focus on higher-value work, while allowing others to contribute meaningfully.
