Hey! We recently released a Cold Mailing campaign (for company emails) of a particular industry from Germany. We received de facto zero positive responses. What do you think, do Cold Mails in this country don't work or the fact that we sent messages directly to office@XYZ.COM worked to our disadvantage? I'd love to know what you guys think about this ;)

First, it's probably illegal. Second, it's just not what people do in Germany. That said, most of my SEO clients are from Germany and I do send cold emails all the time. But I would never even try to automate it. You need to know, exactly, who you're talking to and the email has to be specific. People in Germany are much more aware of the fact that somebody wants to sell shit, and they don't like to be at the end of that conversation.

Normally German companies have a strict policy against emails from outside. Try to do a multi-channel campaign with LinkedIn and see if it works better.
