Chatbots that don't have to be scripted?

How close are we to being able to get a chatbot that's conversational AI, drawing from existing content, help desk, calendar, etc.
Seems it wouldn't be difficult to create a conversational bot Virtual Assistant that doesn't have to be scripted but would be trainable - to use a company website, scheduling, and so forth as source data.

I think we are pretty close. You will see amazing products in next 6 months for sure.

@seobrien_mediatech Its just my understanding that with the capabilities OpenAi API offers you can fine tune the model by providing enough data to make it work the way you want it to, so i believe many companies would have already started building first for thier company and see how it goes and once rhe system is proven and accepted we will see it out in market as prototype
@uday_patel4 thought I'd revisit this and see if anything comes to mind months later

I think if you look around with autogpt and babygpt we are very close to see some really good products.
And i said 6 months so you can revist in 6 months.
I believe you won’t have to revist.
