Building a Fashion Brand - From Idea to production!

Dreaming about creating your own clothing brand? Or have experience doing it already? Well, my experience is that its an industry that is very difficult to navigate and get clarity! So here we go with my thoughts! I have done a lot of research on the steps to creating a clothing line & brand. Defiantly came to my surprise how difficult it is to navigate in the industry! So, I was thinking there are probably others who have experienced similar difficulty! So many questions and unknown factors to consider: Questions like: How do I transform my sketchers into tech packs? I will probably use @fiverr and have contacted several fashion designers on Fiverr. How to figure out the material of the clothing? If some of the technique will be a knitted technique - Do I need to make a knitting/fabric pattern? How to search, select the right manufacture? How many samples to begin with? What about the logistical aspect? Should one consider on-demand rather than stock the collection? Pros & Cons? How to sell the collection? Privately or through ecommerce channels? Let's share ideas, experience and thoughts on the matter! Any suggestions from people having experience would be greatly appreciated.
