My biggest motivation for starting my own business is may sound a bit clieche but it is what it is, and that is Financial and Time Freedom.

total independence. and the ability to take full responsibility with your actions which 9-5 cannot give you. The amount of discipline required to have that solo success is immeasurable coz everyday you are the enemy of yourself.
