Release on Wednesday or Thursday, more people sit on those days.

Be active! Connecting with people definitely makes a difference. Especially if you aren't doing paid campaigns.

Don't underestimate the power of a strong pre-launch. Build hype, get an email list going. And, user feedback is golden, don't launch in a vacuum. You don't want to pull a Google Glass and miss the mark. Good luck!
