Auto Dealerships Hit With Major Cyber-Attack

Over half of auto dealerships in the US use CDK Global software. In a nutshell, they provide software solutions such as products and services for dealerships, manufacturers, and other industry peers. Per leaders on X (GuyDealership, Dealership), this has wreaked havoc on dealerships especially smaller dealerships as many companies are unable to complete orders without the software. While I recognize the temptation for people to try to "market" products here, out of respect for the absolute chaos right now, this is only an information post of what is going on. I would caution people about pouncing on this, as people working in the industry are under great stress. There will be a time for reflection later. Same for comments about dealerships in general; not the time and place. If you've had to get service done this past week or if you've been in to buy a car, you may have noticed or even experienced significant delay. As a note, the dealership market is approximately $1.2 trillion - huge impact!
