Videos can definitely add a dynamic touch to your product launch on Product Hunt! They can help showcase key features, provide a walkthrough, and engage users in a more visual way. Just remember, a good video can make a lasting impression and set your product apart from the rest.

Absolutely. I follow the "Show don't tell" concept often. Visitors would like to have a glance at the product before testing it out so it's important to include video demos.

Would totally say yes. The world is getting more and more visually focused by the day. Having a good intro video adds a lot of value. We haven't launched on Product Hunt yet but we have done Kickstarter campaigns before for fun. Having a good video makes a big difference. Had to learn video editing ourselves but in the end, it was great learning :))) For reference: https://www.kickstarter.com/proj...

I may be biased as I come from an editing and animation background, but my answer is absolutely. You can convey a lot more information in a short amount of time with a well made video. Personally when I go to a product page I always watch the videos first. Almost every product I’ve downloaded via product hunt was after watching the video and getting a better understanding of the products functionality. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a custom, fully animated video. You just need to tell a good story and showcase your product and its ease of use well.

@henry_burkert you’re welcome! I just checked out your site and wanted to say your demo is top notch! Our team is remote and lives on slack, we’re going to try this out :)
