Any tips on landing your 1st customer?

We all know how difficult it is to acquire our first customer for our product. What steps did you take to ensure that your product was ready?

Think of a "life hack" what would be an awesome result? Aim higher. Write it down. Then, ask yourself what would be even better result? Act on it. Its might be scary, but its worth trying!
Ask for help people you know. They know someone who will benefit from your product even if they are not your ideal customer persona. Be clear what you want them to do. Craft a short template/message of what you would like them to send to  people they think might benefit.

as soon as the product prototype was done, I reached out to friends and family members who fit my target persona for the product. got them to provide feedback and will be the very first to test put the product and eventually (hopefully) pay for it.

Leverage personal and professional networks to introduce your offering.
Provide a compelling reason for your potential customer to try your product or service.
Personal connections and excellent customer service can go a long way in gaining trust and securing that first sale.
