  • A Launch must-have: Welcome email sequence

Before you launch, make sure you have at least one email setup to welcome your new customers. In this email, welcome them and thank them for signing up for your product. Provide useful tips in this email that will help your user more effectively use your product. When writing this email, write to one person. Make sure if they reply to the email, it goes back to you or someone who will answer if they have questions. This email is the start of building trust with a solid customer experience. For an even better introduction to your product, provide a mini training via email that will help your new user get the most out of your product. Reach out if you need anymore email marketing help 💌

Quite an interesting fact to help, because this way people can get a notification about the product. But the percentage that someone will respond positively to it is quite low

@ixord When you say "respond positively to it", are you referring to the welcome email itself? If so, what do you mean by respond positively?

Kisha, what eMail tools are you using?
    Kisha Anderson
@matthias_strafinger I use various tools depending on the use case. For EmailArtisan.io, I'm using Mailchimp to send email. To code, I'm using Parcel because it was made specifically for coding email. Parcel makes it easy to house my design system. I'll add to this stack as the company grows. What are you using?

Do you recommend Mailchimp of Klaviyo to send out welcome emails
    Kisha Anderson
@divine_rivers1 So you'll need to be able to communicate with both sides of your marketplace separately. You can do that by segmenting your users and tagging them. Both Mailchimp and Klaviyo have this functionality. Make sure to also organize your campaigns by side of marketplace as well for efficiency.

@divine_rivers1 depends on your needs. What's your product? Either is fine for welcome emails. Your long-term needs will determine what tools you need.

@jarrett_martin Thanks for the plug/suggestion. Will definitely give them a look ahead of our July 17th marketplace launch!

@kishaanderson Yes, we're launching a marketplace (The first half launches July 17th). Agreed! This is a long-term question more than an immediate one.
