Why is it hard for most people to recognize a disruption when it is right in front of them?

I started thinking about it when I registered for YEN (@yenFTW): Where would we be if nobody had made the right decision? Where would we be if nobody made a better decision for our future? Does it take a lot of chutzpah or what do you think? Go "YEN" Go: bring visionaries together and make sure things take the right turn.
