Do you need a chatbot answers your community questions?

Question

Would you or someone you know be in need of a chatbot for community managers to answer frequent questions effortlessly such they can focus on business growth?

- If so, would you be willing to sign up for a fully serviced bot for one year at the price of $99?
- If not, why is this not a product that fits your needs?

@timz_flowers it will be build using Python (you will not need to do anything), then once you would be satisfied with the quality it would be deployed to the cloud (again, you don't need to do anything) and it then run in the cloud for one year. This is all included in the $99

@timz_flowers I've had that attitude in the past and unfortunately it has not worked well. I am currently participating in a program where they tell you that if you cannot land three customers within 48hours of starting validation without spending money, it will be too difficult to build a business case around it. The rule is that you do in principle not code before you have those three customers to prevent you from building something that people do not want (and hence preventing you from wasting your own time)

@timz_flowers it is a program that runs in the cloud that monitors the Slack or Telegram, so yes it is in the cloud. But don't worry, that is all part of the service, so you don't need to worry about this.

@troelsfr @timz_flowers I am just picking up on this one (although it is a bit old). I wanted to let you know that I've built the first version of the backend now as well. It is now fully programmable albeit that it still misses a few features for you to able to build the full demo above. Let me know what you think.

@timz_flowers yes, I will not earn much on the first few customers. However, this is about idea validation more than about becoming profitable. I want to find 3 customers before I write a larger code base. I am happy to do the bot creation because I will learn a ton of things about the customer problems

@troelsfr you offer the bot creation as a service? for people who are non-developers this is perhaps a very good deal. But I'm somehow afraid that you have to work perhaps several hours to build it and don't earn enough for a sustainable business, or not? Are you building an engine for bot creation that speeds up the bot-creation or how can I understand this? That would be an interesting concept, but I'm not familiar with the competition in this field, so my assessment is not expert.

@troelsfr Cool, go for it!! Sounds like a cool concept - our devs need defenitely more time to build a bot. But one more question: If the bot runs on Slack or Telegram, it won't run on a cloud service, right? Or does it? Because I'm wondering how you will charge the yearly fee then?

@troelsfr I definitely would, but in this very moment we don't have a chat-bot use case. The only bot we have in place, developed 2 month ago, is our Slack-bot (https://timz.flowers/slack-support-center/) - it took us two month to develop it, not fulltime, but the development period was 2 months. It creates a flower for the user (this is how we call our meeting navigator) and pushes notifications for all new contributions into the Slack channel where it was created. I'm afraid that this bot does not suit your definition of a bot, like you're offering it, because you're talking solely of chat-bots, so you don't connect your bots to our backend and frontend (the bot opens the Slack webkit and presents our flower there).

At the moment we are in urgent hotfixes and the entire team is rotating around it. So I can't sign up right now as the demand is not there, but I definitely can assure you that this sounds interesting and I will immediately sign up and test it when we need a bot.

@troelsfr another question: once the bot is created and I want to change the messages and trigger-events, do I have something like a backend to make changes myself or do you have to take action yourself again? It's a question about immediacy  and costs
