Here are 10 tips on how to conduct customer interviews that will help you get the most out of your research: 1. Define Your Goals: Before you start conducting customer interviews, it's important to have a clear idea of what you want to learn. Whether it's understanding your customer's pain points, preferences, or needs, having a specific goal in mind will help you focus your questions and make the most of your research. 2. Identify Your Target Audience: Knowing who you want to interview is key to getting the right information. Identify your target demographic, and create a list of potential participants. Look for customers who are already using your product or service, or are in your target market. 3. Prepare Your Questions: Having a list of open-ended questions that will help you gain a deeper understanding of your customers' needs, pain points, and preferences. Avoid leading questions that may bias the responses and make sure to ask follow-up questions to get more detailed information. 4. Schedule the Interviews: Set up the interviews at a time that is convenient for the participants, and confirm the details with each participant in advance to avoid any confusion. 5. Conduct the Interviews: During the interviews, listen actively and let the participants speak. Avoid interrupting or talking too much and encourage them to share as much information as possible. 6. Take Notes: Keep notes during the interviews, this will help you remember important details and make it easier to analyze the data later. 7. Record the Interviews: Recording the interviews will allow you to go back and listen to them later, and also helps you remember the participants’ tone and body language. 8. Follow Up: After the interviews, be sure to follow up with the participants. Thank them for their time and let them know when they can expect to receive the results. 9. Analyze the Data: After all the interviews have been conducted, analyze the data to identify patterns and trends. Look for common themes and insights that can help you improve your product or service. 10. Share the Results: Share the results of the customer interviews with your team. Use the insights to inform your product development, marketing, and sales strategy. It's essential to remember that talking with your customers is the best way to understand their needs, pain points, and preferences. These interviews will give you valuable insights that you can use to improve your product and make it more appealing to your target market.

    11. Stop assuming and start asking the question no matter how dumb you feel it is. 12. Don't list questions, instead list the things that you need to cover. Because most of the time, the candidate takes your convo, so follow them and get all the insights that you need. don't focus too much on asking all the questions in the order you listed.

Yes! Great list. I'd add a point about not aking theoretical questions or questions about a person’s future. You need to gather only facts, so it's better to ask questions about their real past experiences

The only question left is how to recruit target audience, which channels should be used?
