Hey @manos_liakos - I am unsure I understand what you mean, referring to an "app" is very board. Can you give an example of an app that would fall under this approach.
"Try before you buy" web app?

It depends on your product, but generally, I think that these two work all the time:
- Communities. Find where your users hang out, go there and help them out but also share your solution.
- SEO, pays off and it is much easier than you think. It requires that you put the time to learn about it. It is so much valuable for all your future products too.
What's the last acquisition channel that worked for you?

We started using Oh Dear recently and we are very happy about the decision. Over time we tried many services but we ended up with Oh Dear. It has many cool features and you can definitely rely on the team behind it.

Tracking air pollution has recently become one of the things I am always interested about. I appreciate clean air and love to stay healthy. Good job!

I just admit to myself and know that whether I opt-out or opt-in, whether it's Google or any other company… my data is shared, will continue to be shared by one way or another (like those massive leaks for example that we see every now and then).
Google now owns Fitbit. Should advertising companies own wearables data?

What do you do to expand time 🧪? It's true that you can expand it.
I have found that constantly changing my routine and location makes me feel that time passes slowly (I love that). On the contrary, doing the same thing over and over every day makes me feel that a whole month passes like a day or two. Interested in listening to your experiments.

All the time! Funny fact, I usually spot the people I want to chat with by their laptop stickers :) - if they have too many relevant stickers to what I like, I can't stop myself from starting a conversation.
But I try to observe them first and make sure they are not super focused on what they are doing. An idea of an app that helps you do that would be something I would use always.
Have you ever sat in a place and thought, it would be nice to chat with people here?

I was excited to see this - but I just ended up "signing up" for beta and not trying the product. Was expecting that a launched product is actually a launched product that you could try.

Is it a little annoying that big companies launch products we already know about on Product Hunt?
Personally, I like to discover new products launched by indie hackers, small companies or new companies. The reason I am asking this, is because I often see new/existing products made by big companies that already have coverage in a dozen other places and channels. Just wondering if I am the only one here thinking about this. (I am a relatively new PH user, so excuse me if I am asking the wrong...

Luck plays a factor here. If for example a couple of pretty famous products launch on the same day you do, you will be competing with them directly, and your chance in becoming one of the top 5 products of the day could be very slim. So I would recommend launching on a day that is not known as "best weekday to launch".

Pretty exciting to see this offering. I used basecamp a few years ago and will surely give this one a try.
