The idea for this productized service came from a blend of the standard playbook for this vertical and the explosion of generative AI. What if you needed content quickly and wanted the experience to feel like generative AI, but with the quality of a top-rated human writer? Do you want the seamless feel of AI prompts but without the copyright infringement worries? That's the genesis behind...

The real question is, what type of work are we talking about?
Plenty of jobs require in-person attendance; some might technically be doable in a remote setting. Even then, if you need to collaborate frequently and talk to external clients face to face, then the only debate is how often you come to an office location.
When discussing fully remote work, the type of roles narrow further. Many...

I have to say the "fragmented time" statistic in one of the screenshots is brilliant! Really helps to put the amount of time confetti into context.

Top prompts for good outputs in ChatGPT 4?
What are your go-to zero-shot or multiple-shot LLM prompts?
Here are mine (as of this writing, it'll change as GPT 4 does):
- "Let's take a deep breathe and think step by step" -- that's a favorite from LLM researchers.
- Context: "You are a [persona] and an expert in [subject], your client is [target] who needs help with [task]"
- Format: "Your answer should be in [format]"
- Checks...

I use Grammarly to check my tendency to get lazy.
ChatGPt... this can be dangerous. I enjoy using LLMs to generate ideas, maybe even outlines. I recommend against using it to generate the actual body text of any public-facing written material. Outputs are the sum of the worst writing on the internet.
That's partly why I created EnterInk, a human-powered content creation service.

This is easy--if by "same office" you mean physical space, then the answer is "good." One imagines sharing a life is much more involved than sharing a workspace.
If by "same office" you mean the same employer, then the answer might be more complicated. If the employer is a large firm and the spouses are in different departments, the risk of being downsized and out of work simultaneously is...

I go through waves. First there's a small spawn of an idea. Then it starts to congeal into something resembling a possible MVP. After that there's a burst of excitement before the crash, where you think, "this is dumb and will never work." Maybe that's why successful founders don't think much and simply build in public until they stumble on something that works.
I'm going through that now...

Writing as a service, doable?
Hello PH friends, inspired by Brett from Designjoy.co, I threw together an alpha version of something similar, but for content (think anything written, blog posts, website copy, pitchdecks, investor emails, etc).

Is this an insane idea that will never work? Did AI kill this? Something there? Would love the PH honest feedback.

My MBA economics professor explained this in a fun way.
A 19th-century rail operator in the UK had three classes: first, second, and third. The first was luxurious, the second had seats, and the third class--it was standing only with no cover. Why would you build a rail car and leave the top uncovered? It wasn't that the operator was saving money by keeping it open-air; it was to push people...

I HATE subscriptions, especially to software that shouldn't need updating. AND YET. I just created the alpha version of a writing-as-a-service product... though in my defense, that is something that, by definition, is tough to do in a one-and-done fashion. Welcome feedback on it (www.enterink.com).
