I think policy is a step forward as we educate lawmakers about the complexity of digital space and programming practices.
We need to do a better job as a society to make sure social platforms do not use addictive features to manipulate audiences. as we have seen in the news, this can lead to some very serious societal issues and health issues for individuals.

Take a serious break. When you need to, ignore your startup altogether and for us on something different like outdoor activities, social life, excersize, or vacation.
I always come back with a clear head after that.

I think it helps most by garnering feedback and finding direction as you build. It saves a ton of time.
