Building https://thymer.com in public - an editor/IDE for tasks & planning.
The biggest lesson is rather meta: it's that _not_ building in public is really playing the startup game in hard mode. We've built our first product in the proverbial basement, never really sharing much about the process itself. It all worked out in the end, but it feels like everything goes much faster taking the...

We just launched Papyrs a few days ago to help (partially) remote teams with this.
We're a 100% remote team ourselves, and we initially built this to collaborate online by keeping all information and discussions in one place. We wrote a little bit more about some routines that work for our team while working remotely on our blog, at https://about.papyrs.com/@blog/How-we-work-remotely

Hey Product Hunters!
š I'm Wim, co-founder of Papyrs. Together with @jdvhouten I've been coding in the proverbial basement for more than 2.5 years to build what we're launching here today, so we're super excited to finally show it to you all!
š± We started building on the original vision for Papyrs waaay back in 2011. After working on several projects (while 100% remote), we found there wasn't...

A new take on knowledge bases, team wikis & intranet sites
All your information in one place. Build an internal site with whatever you need to work together: notes, files, checklists, videos, forms/databases, calendars, and more. It's all drag&drop (or Markdown if that's your thing š¤)

Hey everone,
Fun to browse all these new services here!
I'm working on a new version of a product for teams and companies to create internal wikis/websites (intranets).
Planning to launch it soon, but there's always that last bit of polish you feel you need to add before launching š¬. I would love any feedback you have on the new landing page.

Thanks!

This looks really useful, congrats on the launch! The "categories" tab to quickly drill down alternatives is pretty nice as well. Maybe it could be useful if you could also sort/order the results by an attribute like "last activity"? It wouldn't be the first time I find some amazing library to find out it hasn't been updated in years and only works with IE5 or something ;)
