On a good day, it does go upto 8 hours, but the average will end up somewhere around 4-5 hours for every decent employee. I believe this amount of undisturbed productivity is good to achieve a lot of milestones. Its scientifically proven that human brain cant focus more than 15-20 minutes without taking a break.
