These Days, I’m Reminded of My First Post
My first post was four months ago. It posed a question: Should code be easy for AI to read, or easy for humans to read?
For those encountering Cursor for the first time, watching it handle the kinds of boilerplate work I used to do setting up files, structuring code, naming variables, etc can make it feel like magic. Even vague instructions like create a home screen or build a detail view seem to yield surprisingly decent results. It feels like it can do anything.
What were the things that Cursor couldn't "fix" for you?
Hello PH!
I'm Hyuntak form South Korea, quite new to this community, first time posting.
I'm a med student and solo developer.
What do you think is Cursor’s most irreplaceable strength?
To be honest, I find Cursor s VS Code experience quite uncomfortable. However, the fact that it runs seamlessly within my codebase is what keeps me from abandoning it.
That said, if Copilot were to offer the same level of integration, I don t think I d continue using Cursor. Copilot is gradually catching up with the features Cursor provides, and it works within IntelliJ, which is a big advantage for me.
