About
I started Scribble Journey in 2018 as my senior thesis for the design program at The Ohio State University. I started by looking into the world of art therapy. After weeks of interviewing art therapists, reading psychology case studies and conducting focus groups, Scribble Journey was born. During the pandemic lockdown in 2020, I made Scribble Journey a reality by releasing a deck of physical activity cards on Etsy to help people process their emotions while in isolation. After 1,000 sales, I wanted to make Scribble Journey more accessible by transforming the activities into an app. My husband, Greg, had just completed a developer bootcamp and was now equipped with the skills to build Scribble Journey. Scribble Journey will be launching in the App Store December 7th!
