I was Facebook’s first misinformation PM, shipping feed-ranking changes that touched billions, with a brief interlude shipping causal ranking models for ads. I then co-founded a SuperPAC that raised tens of millions to test which news stories sway swing voters; our work appeared in Nature Human Behavior. Most recently, I started Autobiographer, a venture-backed company that used frontier AI to help people tell their life stories (here's a clip of me talking about the product with Katie Couric: https://x.com/specularist/status/1796301941296787646). ETHEREA, my real-time immersive AI art exhibition, was displayed at Anthropic HQ last year, and earned a two-month residency in the historic site of Florent restaurant in New York's meatpacking district.
